After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Dr. Kristin Kry earned a Masters of Science degree in Animal Behaviour from the University of Edinburgh. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University in 2011, followed by a small animal internship at the University of Guelph. She completed a three-year residency in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Auburn in July 2015, where she simultaneously obtained a Masters degree in Biomedical Science. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons - Small Animal and has since worked as a member of the CTVRC family as a board-certified veterinary surgeon. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgery including surgical oncology, soft tissue, minimally invasive, and orthopaedic surgery.
