Dr. Martens completed an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and a master's degree in physical chemistry from the University of Waterloo. She then obtained her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. Following this she completed a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic (VEC) South Toronto and then a neurology specialty internship at the Ontario Veterinary College. Since then, she has been practicing emergency medicine and is excited to have joined the CTVRC ER team in 2022.
